The best food we have had in a long time. I got the Cuban sandwich which was better than the Cuban sandwich I got at the Cuban restaurant. lol.. My friend got the breakfast burrito it was stuffed with eggs, ham, cheese, home fries, smothered in a nice gravy. The staff bubbly and outgoing they made sure to take care of their customers. A small place but large personality. We definitely can't wait to go again.

Shout out to Larry who works at this diner! He recommended this restaurant to us at his other job at the CrabShack off Gandy BLVD where we ate yesterday. He's great and so was everyone at Route 66 as well. The food was perfect. I'll be bringing all my family here to support the magic and hardwork of the Route 66 crew.

Awesome little place. Looks like a family run business. All age groups working here. Our waiter was a young man. He was quick and polite. Portions were big for the price. Very tasty as well. Biscuits and gravy were great. Highly recommend trying this little place.

First time trying this place, and I'm shocked it wasn't packed. Gluten free options galore, and the house made gluten free waffle was really good. Got a cuban to go for later because of previous reviews. Service was great, very polite kid. Seems family owned and operated, so i recommend locals to come try it out. Ill be back.

First time trying this diner and we will be back! I enjoyed my chicken parm sub with fries, while the wife and daughter had BLTs. One with tots, the other with homemade chips. Opt for the chips or tots when you go. Fries were good, but the other two options better. Daughter had a chocolate shake and said she liked it. Definitely one of the better diners in the area!

This place is wonderful. Great food, attentive service, wonderful staff, and good prices. What else could you want? My friend and I both had the "Breakfast Nachos" today. The "nachos" are freshly cut and fried, thin potato spirals. Cover that in eggs, gravy, ham, and other breakfast goodies and you've got yourself a huge and delicious meal. Your 66 Diner never disappoints. Thank you for another wonderful meal.

I woke up with a craving for pancakes and pickles! No I'm not pregnant just southern! So I was washing clothes and googled nearby establishments that could satisfy my cravings. This place popped up w/good reviews. I decided to give them a try. Upon entering the place they had diners and a steady flow of customers. The staff was very friendly and the server that assisted me was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and patient as this was my first experience here. Now about the food? Yummo! Nice big and fluffy pancakes! The raspberry mixture tastes like real fruit and not perserves. The syrup was hot and sweet. I wish I had received 2 of the containers tho because those pancakes were big! The fried pickles were some of the best I've had. They weren't overly breaded and nice cut. Not too thin or chunky. There was a lot of variety on the menu. A customer next to me ordered avocado toast. It was huge with bacon and eggs. It's a little something for everyone wanting that country comfort meal. Glad I stopped by and tried a new spot!

Amazing spot to grab breakfast or lunch! My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and we were very impressed. My wife has a gluten allergy and we were very happy with all of the gluten free options. We hope to come back very soon to try out breakfast. 5/5 ⭐
